Reliable quality for all requirements
The highly abrasion-resistant ebaboard polyurethane boards from ebalta are used for the production of foundry patterns or core boxes. Optimum results in application are ensured by the high-quality, dense and homogeneous surface, the good edge stability and the high abrasion resistance. ebalta customers also appreciate the excellent machining qualities, such as very low dust formation during milling, a low coefficient of linear expansion and high impact strength.
But ebalta also meets more specific customer requirements: For example, larger equipment with demanding geometries can be cast seamlessly and in one piece in our ebablock®, for example to mould box size. In this case, a blank made of polyurethane is individually produced according to the customer’s specifications. Here, the customer can choose between different solutions depending on the requirements: A simple rectangular blank cast to size. a blank based on the contour, or a near-net-shape block, where the blank is manufactured according to the customer’s CAD data. With the custom-fit ebablock® solutions, customers get seamless models and also save material and time.
Support from experts
No foundry is like the other, the requirements for the material for patterns and core boxes are diverse, depending, for example, on the pattern size, the desired number of impressions or the moulding process. That is why, in addition to a wide range of products, expert and individual advice is important to ebalta. Customers and interested parties receive this from the experts in sales and product management. People with extensive practical experience work here, who know the demands and challenges of the industry and work out an optimal solution with the customer.
