ebaboard EP 138 convinces AGN Composites

With its extensive and long-standing expertise in the manufacture and development of epoxy tooling plates, ebalta has also impressed AGN Composites. The young company soon made a name for itself in the motorsport sector as a leading composites supplier, offering component manufacturing and repair services for competitors and winners of races such as Le Mans, the British Touring Car Championship and the British Superbike Championship.

AGN Composites chose the ebaboard EP 138 for the production of high-quality carbon fibre parts for Dissident Automotive, a manufacturer of high-quality OEM+ components with its own design. The powerful arguments in favour were: the high temperature resistance, the thermal stability and the excellent surface finish.

The blocks were first bonded with our adhesive 552 before being processed and finished by AGN Composites. After sealing the moulds with sealer 02 and treating them with Release Agent 17, they were used with a low temperature tooling prepreg to make production tooling. This was followed by the production of carbon fibre parts for Dissident Automotive.
