„It’s getting more and more crowded in the cities, parking spaces are scarce, the combustion engine will soon be obsolete.” This is the background for the motto of this year’s apprentice-competition of Germany’s Association for Tool and Mould Makers, which is taking place for the seventh time.
Apprentices can register for this competition until the 4th of April. The task is to design, construct and build the model of a means of transport of the future that is both practical and environmentally friendly.
Able to participate in this competition are apprentices in companies on the model, mold and tool making sector. In addition to cash prices the first three winners will also win a trip for two to the ‘Bundesverbandstag’ in Friedrichshafen at Lake Constance.
